Si bien la muerte es algo impredecible, Death list se ha dedicado a hacer cada año una lista con los 50 famosos susceptibles de fallecer a lo largo de los siguientes 12 meses. Curiosamente, este sitio web ha acertado en reiteradas ocasiones sobre el destino de los personajes que aparecen en su pronóstico.
En el pasado 2017, Death list acertó 17 de las 50 muertes que había señalado, entre ellos el fundador de la revista PlayBoy, Hugh Hefner; el exmonarca Miguel I de Rumanía, primo hermano de la reina Sofía; y el banquero y filántropo David Rockefeller.
Por su parte, en la lista de este año aparecen Benedicto XVI, antiguo Papa; Stephen Hawking, reconocido físico teórico; y Olivia Newton-John, protagonista de la película ‘Grease’, el exfutbolista inglés Paul Gascoigne, con graves problemas de alcoholismo; el actor Sean Connery, cerca de los 88 años; y personalidades políticas, como Robert Mugabe, Jimmy Carter, George Bush (padre) o Hosni Mubarak, también integran esta lista, reseña El Farandi
